APS6 Senior Policy Officer | Federal Government | Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Hobart $65.00 - $73.00 and hour Super Full time, 37.5 hour a week role Contract up to 30th June 2026 MUST have minimum baseline security clearance ACM Healthcare is working on behalf of a Federal Government Department to source multiple experienced Senior Policy Officers for a contract up to 30th June 2026 at an APS6 Level. The roles are available to be worked out of either the: Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Hobart office. Duties: Provide advice on policy issues. deliver on the Government's agenda, including the development and implementation of policy relating to the health and wellbeing of the community. Draft ministerial and senior executive reports, briefings, Ministerial correspondence, meeting and discussion papers. Review and update existing policy documentation and other information which supports the work of service delivery. Gather and analyse data and research to formulate and review technical advice in specific areas of policy. Support the team with requests for information, administration, media monitoring and coordination. Mandatory Criteria: Experience in developing and implementing policy will be highly regarded.
